“VTSE 1st Phase Result Declared: Rural Girl Students Outshine in Vision Talent Search competition”

All the first three positions in the Phase-1 of the Vision 50 Talent Search Examination (VTSE) - 2022 held on 2nd January at 35 different centers across Assam have been occupied by girls and it has been announced that the position holders will be awarded with cash prize of Rs 1 Lakh.

January 19, 2022: All the first three positions in the Phase-1 of the Vision 50 Talent Search Examination-2022 held on 2nd January at 35 different centres across Assam have been occupied by girls and it has been announced that the position holders will be awarded with cash prize of Rs 1 Lakh.  A huge response from students was received as about 10,000 students appeared in the exam, the result of which was declared recently.  The Talent Search Exam was organized by Vision 50 Academy in association with Central Public School Patharkandi and Central Public School Badarpur, both affiliated to CBSE. Vision 50 Academy is powered by ERD Foundation Guwahati and supported by USTM. This is a rural education mission with community initiative by the ERD Foundation.

The top rank holder of the Phase-1 of the Vision 50 Talent Search Examination-2022 is Jerifa Wahid from West Guwahati High School, Dakalpara, Kamrup( M) (award: Rs 50,000). The 2nd rank holder is Wahida Begum from Baliya Public Academy School (Ghulchera, Karimganj) (award: Rs 30,000) and the two 3rd rank holders are Badriyyah Bushraa from Holy Children HS School (Patharkandi, Karimganj)  and Suhana Khanom Mazumder from Sishu Mangal High School (Algapaur, Hailakandi)  (award: Rs 20,000). Overall, rural students from the State have shown better results in the examination. 

In response to the enthusiastic students as well as their guardians who have requested for a 2nd Phase of the Examination, the Vision 50 Academy is going to hold the same on the 6th of February 2022 in which school students from class 8 to class 12 can appear. This is a historic initiative with a vision to support mainly aspiring students from the rural areas of the north-eastern region to clear the Indian civil service examinations. 

The Vision 50 Academy has developed various innovative study modules from the secondary level onwards so that students can be groomed right from an early age for the toughest competitive examination of the country.
